- 1st place: Steve Moore
- 2nd place: Matt Carter
- 3rd place: Paul "Smokey" Smith
Unfortunately, Mark Luney lost the twin battle against Simon Perry due to making a mistake on the exit of the final corner only yards from the finish line - the two rear wheels of his car left the track and the judges state that if two or more wheels leave the track then it is handled as a 10-0 to the other driver, Simon Perry in this particular case. For those interested, the SATS/Cosworth Toyota Supra he is driving this season is now producing 828bhp!!!
Also, Shane Lynch of Team Japspeed suffered mechanical failure to his 500+bhp 600+lbsft VH45DETT V8 powered Nissan S15 (apparently one or more of the bolts that fixes the cam wheel to the cam shaft had sheared) moments before the second run of a twin battle.
And Team Driftworks were not there, otherwise the podium may have looked a little different.
Still, it was a good day all-round and I am looking forward to Round 4 at Knockhill.
