 Hi everyone, just a quick enquiry concerning variable ND filters. I'm considering buying a Hama 58mm Variable Neutral Density Filter for around £25. I just wanted to know what I should know and think about when buying/using one and whether anyone has any good or bad experiences with these minor miracles. I'll write another journal soon explaining what's been happening and what you have to look forward to seeing in my gallery (BDC Teesside photos for the next few days). Thanks Andrew

Well all the Knockhill Motorshow/Motorfair photos are all up and with no photos worth uploading taken between this and the BDC at Teesside it means that very soon the BDC Round 3 photos from Teesside Autodrome can finally be processed. Speaking of photos, there has been the final event of the BDC held at the Nissan factory, Sunderland which I attended and took around 12 gigabytes of photos (which will be seen after the BDC Round 3 photos, BDC Round 4 from Knockhill, BDC Round 6 from Sunderland, and any others in between). As you can guess from the title I went up to Knockhill for Round 4 of the BDC and took approx. 10 gigabytes of photos. Unfortunately, I stood in virtually the same spot for all the on-track action so I do not have as much of a variety of photos as I would like. The reason for this was I wanted to get some photos of the cars from the Super-Pro category (the top group) from a certain position. Sadly they did not emerge until after 4 o'clock (I did not have an event program/timetable so I did not know this and spent the whole afternoon hoping that the next car over the hill was of the Super-Pro group) and because there was no suitable break betw
